Audition For 2008-2009	Welcome to New Atlanta Youth Orchestra Sponsored by the Georgia Language Institute, and the Atlanta Youth Center Members Concerto Competition Audition The New Atlanta Youth Orchestra provides the best of metro-Atlanta’s young players an opportunity to perform orchestral masterworks. Selected by audition, members meet weekly for group coaching and rehearsals. The NAYO is operated as a division of the New Atlanta Philharmonic Orchestra. • Three performing Groups: 1) Children Orchestra: from 3rd Grade – 5th Grade 2) Young Artists Orchestra: from 6th Grade to 11th Grade 3) Chamber Orchestra : from 9th Grade to 12th Grade • Rehearsals 1) Children Orchestra: 3:00pm-4:00pm, Saturday @ NACM (3802 Satellite Blvd. Duluth GA 30096) 2) Young Artists Orchestra: 4:30pm-6:00pm, Saturday @ NACM (3802 Satellite Blvd. Duluth GA 30096) 3) Chamber Orchestra : 6:30pm-8:30pm, Saturday @ NACM (3802 Satellite Blvd. Duluth GA 30096) • The NAYO gives three concerts in a season on its own series, performs concerts on the NAPO series, and performs at other opportunities throughout the year. • Music Director and Founder Mr. Eugene Lee has conducted the NAYO since 2002, and Dr. Mirna Ciric will be conduct from 2008 season as a Associate Conductor.
